Biography
Frankie Bird is an indie pop/ rock singer-songwriter from Reading, UK. Since beginning to write songs and performing live at local pubs from a young age, Frankie has penned a multitude of songs to hone her craft. She champions authenticity and storytelling. Her guitar based songs have been noted for their thoughtful, personal lyrics and memorable melodies.
Frankie moved to London in late 2021 to pursue her career in music, becoming a regular on the open mic circuit and performing at venues across the city. Over the past few years, she has released a string of singles and an EP which received winning reviews and support from BBC Introducing. She returns with her debut album ‘Up Until Now’ featuring previously released singles ‘So Sky Blue’, ‘Hard to Take’ and ‘Movie Night’. Recorded in Notting Hill, the album contains themes of heartbreak and hope with punchy electric guitar lines and soaring vocals. ‘Up Until Now’ solidifies Frankie Bird as an artist and songwriter to watch.
